This German-born Venezuelan artist, began in the drawing and painting at an early age under the guidance of his mother. Took courses in drawing and watercolor painting in Caracas, New York, Pittsburgh and Santa Fe, USA

In 1971 he began to exhibit in exhibitions in Venezuela and in 1976 presented his first solo exhibition in Caracas. He has participated in exhibitions sponsored by the Venezuelan Association of watercolors and Circle Drawing Caracas, among which include "Point of View" held at the Museum of Visual Arts and the San Cristobal area, "Paper Only" on Felix Gallery Sample II and "Rescue of Drawing" at the Ateneo de Guacara. In the year 2005 presents a collection of works "Entre Cerros" at the Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, followed by "Painting Margarita" in 2006 and "Contrasts" in 2008. Internationally, she participated in group shows in Guatemala and Philadelphia, USA was selected to participate for Venezuela in the VI and VIII International Watercolor Biennials in Mexico, the Andean Hall Watercolours in Cuenca, Ecuador and the exhibition of watercolors at the Museum Sculpture in St. Petersburg, held in commemoration of the tercentenary of the Russian city, followed by another in the Museo del Agua, in the same city. In 2007, participating in the exhibition "Watercolors of the Soul" in Barcelona, Spain and 2008 in the International Watercolor in Sao Paolo, Brazil. His work has been recognized in Venezuela with several regional awards, including the special "Rosa de Salazar" the XXXI Hall Güigüe Drawing and Painting, the first prize at the XIII Brandt Carlos Miranda Hall and the first prize of our contest VII Speed Painting 'Festival Saman 2010 "Naguanagua, Valencia.
